![]() I found this thread while trying to research how to use a real arcade gun on a mame pc. Stupidly the arcade I played it at didn't supply a chair so I had to do the splits to play the damn thing (that's the reason I only did one credit).Īnyhow as a fan of sniping games (Golgo 13 being my favorite) I wasn't dissapointed and I hope I can spend some more time with it (with a goddam chair this time) sometime soon. I'm used to standing when I play these kinds of games, but this one is designed to be played sitting down. The way it's designed I don't expect to ever see a console port, as it would take a ton of work to blend the 2 screens together.īut my one gripe is that the machine is really short. It gives the game this interesting 3D depth. There's a clear piece of glass that has 2D image projected onto it, and then an LCD screen behind that. The machine itself is interesting, it's a dual layered screen. It only takes one shot, but it's not easy to hit it, and when you do it feels pretty awesome. No bosses with health bars or anything stupid like that, the first boss is a helicopter, and the only way to down it is by shooting the pilot in the head straight through the windshield. ![]() As far as I was able to get into it it stays true to the concept of being a sniping game. ![]() The first stage allows you to take your time a bit, but you gotta be quick and deliberate with your shots from the opening of stage 2 on. It's basically a futuristic over the top anime Silent Scope, which won't please everyone, but personally I liked it. Got to try a credit of it during a trip to the city yesterday. ![]()
